This workshop takes place at the home of Alexa Coupland, 1819 Wespencer Gate, Sarnia. Located off Blackwell Side Road near Lakeshore Road.
Learn how to shoot action 2 ways - with motion blur and stop action. This will be accomplished with changing the shutter speed.
Learn how to shoot with deep depth of field and shallow depth of field. This will be accomplished with changing the aperture.
Learn how to shoot images with Bokeh using Christmas lights. Learn how to get the star effect around lights. These will be accomplished with changing the aperture.
Learn how changing ISO affects your images. We will take images to explore the difference.
There will be workstations set up in various places around the house. Experienced club members will be at each station to help you adjust your camera settings to achieve the goals. We will be shooting in Manual Mode so you have complete control of your camera.
There will be a follow up meeting in January to review your images if people are interested.
You need to bring camera with lens, the manual for your camera, a tripod attachment and a tripod if you have one. Bring your sense of humour and your enthusiasm. All shooting will be indoors. You may be a model for other photographers.
Please arrive at 6:30 - 6:45 pm We will organize small groups of 2-4 people that will rotate through the stations.
