Event Date: Friday, March 18, 2016 - 08:45 to 12:30
Organizer: Alexa Coupland
Event Description: This will be a morning event to visit Rock Glen Conservation Area. We will be photographing the waterfalls and river bed. There will be an opportunity to learn different camera setting to get different effects of moving water.
You will need to bring a camera with a wide angle lens and a tripod. If you have a neutral density filter or an ultraviolet filter, you should bring them.
I highly recommend that you wear sturdy footwear as there are steep steps to the base of the waterfall. It is very rocky at the bottom of the waterfall and you must be extremely careful as it is slippery.
Friday is currently predicted to be sunny and cool. I believe that the sun will light the falls in the morning. Perhaps there will be rainbows.
The park is closed but we will be able to park there and pay at the "Pay Box". The person I spoke to said she thought it was a $4 fee per person. She also said that there are privvies.
We will meet just north of highway 402 at Maundamin Road at 8:45am. We will be at Rock Glen by 9:30. I think that 2 hours will be sufficient time and we will return to our meeting place near Sarnia by 12:30.
